Job Summary

A company is looking for a Peer Support Specialist III to provide support and resources to individuals in recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Support consumers in their personal recovery journey and provide peer support
• Engage program participants in collaborative relationships
• Maintain knowledge of community resources and communicate effectively with team members and consumers

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• At least three years of experience in social or healthcare fields, preferably with substance abuse or mental health
• Two years of experience in recovery principles and lived experience with the target population
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills for recording services and office functions
