Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Pharmacist (Rotating Weekends).

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a point of contact for patients, families, and healthcare providers to address medication-related issues and provide care plan options
• Ensure accurate and compliant medication distribution and fulfillment using proprietary software
• Plan and maintain procedures for medication assessment, compounding, packaging, and labeling while overseeing Pharmacy Technicians

Required Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy; PharmD preferred
• Current, active license/registration in good standing with the state board of pharmacy
• 2+ years of experience in pharmacy distribution and packaging, preferably with exposure to geriatrics or chronic care management
• Strong technical skills to navigate pharmacy software and propose operational improvements
• Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations, including HIPAA and Fraud, Waste, and Abuse
