Job Summary

To provide advanced knowledge and skills in drug therapy within a Medicaid managed care HMO, the one-year New Jersey Licensed Pharmacy Resident will engage in pharmacy case management, formulary development, and clinical policy creation while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage pharmacy case management and disease state management
• Develop therapeutic class reviews, drug monographs, and clinical policies
• Oversee the prior authorization process and conduct drug utilization reviews

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's of Science degree in pharmacy from an accredited college or university
• Pharm D from an accredited college or university
• Active Unrestricted Pharmacist License preferred for making UM decisions
• Three Letters of Recommendation
• Knowledge of spreadsheet and database software packages
