New Jersey Licensed Psychiatrist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Psychiatrist for the Adult Population on a Per Diem basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide assessments, direct clinical care, and treatment planning to inmates
• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments for new admissions to the Special Needs roster
• Order and interpret laboratory tests and prescribe medications as necessary

Required Qualifications

• Eligible for certification or certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) in Psychiatry
• Valid New Jersey medical license, CDS, and NJ DEA
• Valid Driver's License with access to transportation between sites
• ABPN certification preferred; salary premium for certified psychiatrists
• Forensic psychiatry experience is preferred
