New Jersey Licensed RN - Prior Authorization

Job Summary

A company is looking for an RN I, Prior Authorization/Concurrent Review.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient's clinical needs against established guidelines to ensure appropriate level of care
• Coordinate and implement care plans while monitoring services rendered for appropriateness and effectiveness
• Document care activities accurately and interact with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor degree preferred or relevant experience in lieu of degree
• Minimum of two (2) years clinical experience required
• Active Unrestricted NJ RN License or active Compact License required
• Proficiency in personal computers and supporting software in a Windows-based environment preferred
• Working knowledge of case/care management principles and principles of utilization management preferred
