Job Summary

To support patient-centered care, the part-time New Jersey Licensed Safety Associate will provide remote monitoring and assistance to patients, ensuring safety and comfort under the guidance of a Registered Nurse.

Key responsibilities

• Provide observation for the safety of assigned patients and report any changes in their condition
• Collaborate with healthcare team members and communicate effectively with patients and their families
• Complete necessary documentation and reports related to patient care and safety

Required qualifications

• Knowledge of patient rights and safety protocols in a healthcare environment
• Ability to document health information accurately in written or electronic form
• Completion of a Patient/Sitter Companion Program or similar training preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
