New Jersey Licensed Senior Accountant

Job Summary

Supporting all aspects of the General Ledger, the full-time remote New Jersey Licensed Senior Accountant will manage financial statement preparation and reporting, provide analysis and reconciliation of complex financial data, and assist with compliance-related activities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee month-end close activities, including journal entry posting and balance sheet reconciliations
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and ensure compliance with accounting regulations and procedures
• Prepare materials for internal and external audiences, including reports and documentation for auditors and tax returns

Required qualifications

• BS/BA in accounting, finance, or a relevant field preferred
• At least 5 years of accounting and financial reporting experience
• Working knowledge of GAAP and multi-state tax accounting
• 3 or more years of experience as a public accountant strongly preferred
• CPA certification strongly preferred
