New Jersey Licensed Senior Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Counsel to lead high-exposure cases in insurance defense.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop compelling case themes and independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials
• Communicate routinely with clients and cultivate relationships with existing and future clients
• Provide leadership and direction to less experienced attorneys while working as part of a team

Required Qualifications

• JD from an ABA approved school and active bar license in New Jersey
• 8+ years of solid litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense matters
• Ability to manage full case handling responsibilities, including discovery and trial preparation
• Experience with time management systems and proficiency in MS Suite, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Ability to think and act independently with minimal supervision
