New Jersey Licensed Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support data-driven decision-making, the full-time Remote New Jersey Licensed Senior Data Engineer will design, build, and operate data pipelines, manage AWS infrastructure, and enhance data quality while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and operate batch and streaming data pipelines using Snowflake and AWS technologies
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines with quality gates to ensure code integrity and performance
• Collaborate with analytics engineers and data scientists to establish shared standards and improve workflows

Required qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Statistics, Math, or a related STEM field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of experience building production data pipelines using Python, SQL, dbt, and cloud technologies
• Extensive knowledge of Snowflake administration, including RBAC and cost tuning
• Strong experience with AWS services such as S3, ECS Fargate, and Lambda
• Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code management
