New Jersey Licensed Senior Dentist

Job Summary

Seeking a New Jersey Licensed Senior Dentist, the full-time position will manage clinical reviews of dental claims, oversee utilization management processes, and mentor staff while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance care quality and provider engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Perform clinical reviews of dental claims and prior authorizations to ensure compliance and appropriateness
• Participate in quality management programs and conduct chart reviews to identify trends in care delivery
• Lead peer-to-peer consultations with providers and support education around compliance and care standards

Required qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited institution
• Active, unrestricted New Jersey dental license in good standing
• Minimum 6 years of experience as a practicing dentist
• At least 2 years of experience in utilization management, claims review, or quality improvement initiatives
• Ability to obtain additional state licenses as needed
