New Jersey Licensed Staff Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant who will prepare financial analyses and reports under the direction of the Accounting Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger accounts and complete monthly close journal entries
• Prepare balance sheet and income statement account analyses with detailed explanations
• Assist with internal and external audits and complete special projects as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Preferred Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensure
• Minimum of three years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in healthcare
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications; PeopleSoft experience preferred
