New Jersey Licensed Supervising Physician

Job Summary

To support a growing telehealth practice, the part-time New Jersey Licensed Supervising Physician will conduct approximately 20 telehealth visits daily for homebound Medicare patients, oversee care plans, and supervise nurse practitioners and physician assistants while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct telehealth visits and manage care plans for a panel of homebound patients
• Supervise and collaborate with nurse practitioners and physician assistants, ensuring compliance with state agreements
• Provide clinical guidance, conduct chart audits, and train care coordinators on care management protocols

Required qualifications

• MD or DO, board certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics
• Active, unrestricted medical license in New Jersey with willingness to obtain additional state licenses
• Current DEA registration in good standing
• Eligibility to enroll and bill as a Medicare practitioner
• Ability to commit to a full-time schedule exclusively for the practice for a one-year term
