New Jersey Licensed Supervising Planner

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Supervising Planner to lead and manage planning projects focused on community development and transportation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage project quality, financials, and schedules for multimodal and active transportation planning
• Develop competitive proposals and leverage relationships with NJ Agencies to identify new opportunities
• Provide oversight and mentoring for department staff while collaborating across various in-house disciplines

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in a consulting firm or public agency with leadership experience
• Master's degree in planning, landscape architecture, engineering, or a related field
• Strong working knowledge of NJ Agency methodologies and existing relationships with senior staff
• AICP and NJ Professional Planner license
• Proficiency in relevant software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, ArcGIS, and AutoCAD
