New Jersey Licensed Telehealth Teacher of the Visually Impaired

Job Summary

A company in the Education industry is looking for a New Jersey Licensed Telehealth Teacher of the Visually Impaired.

Position Responsibilities:

• Assist resource teacher, provide adaptive equipment instruction, and orientation & mobility instruction
• Facilitate daily living skills, low vision equipment adaptation, and braille
• Act as a liaison between parents, teachers, ophthalmologist, & community, advocate for students and provide educational tutoring

Required Qualifications:

• Teaching certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired in New Jersey
• Experience in Mild-Moderate K-12 education
• Ability to work 15 hours a week during school hours
• Proficient in teletherapy technology and able to work remotely
• Strong communication and organizational skills
