Job Summary

A company is looking for an Inside Underwriter to support a team in identifying and arranging insurance coverage for clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the underwriting process in accordance with carrier guidelines and company policies
• Submit information to brokerage markets for accounts outside binding authority
• Negotiate terms and coverages while maintaining communication with producers on submissions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or appropriate insurance designation
• Three years of experience in underwriting or brokering E&S or specialty insurance products
• Must be licensed in corresponding areas of insurance
• Ability to independently manage the underwriting and brokerage process
• Strong knowledge of underwriting practices related to the types of accounts handled
