New Jersey Safety Associate

Job Summary

Working part-time during the day, the New Jersey Safety Associate will provide remote and direct supportive care for patients requiring additional monitoring, promoting quality patient care and safety under the guidance of a Registered Nurse.

Key responsibilities

• Provide observation for the safety of assigned patients and report any changes in condition to appropriate staff
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure compassionate and coordinated care based on patient preferences and needs
• Complete required documentation and reports related to patient care and safety

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
• Knowledge of patient rights and health information documentation methods
• Understanding of patient safety risks in a healthcare environment
• Ability to apply life support processes in patient care situations
• Less than 1 year of previous related experience preferred
