New Jersey Surgical Scheduler

Job Summary

To enhance patient experiences, the full-time Surgical Scheduler in New Jersey will courteously schedule inpatient and outpatient procedures, manage insurance information, and provide pre-operative instructions, primarily working onsite with some remote flexibility after a probationary period.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and confirm surgical procedures while ensuring all necessary patient insurance approvals are in place
• Conduct pre-procedure phone calls and provide patients with essential pre-operative instructions
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain compliance with all applicable healthcare standards

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in a healthcare scheduling role preferred
• Ability to process and interpret data while managing a time-sensitive workload
• Willingness to support a positive patient experience
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs and perform necessary tasks related to patient care
