Job Summary

To enhance the patient experience, the full-time Surgical Scheduler in New Jersey will courteously schedule inpatient and outpatient procedures, manage patient insurance information, and provide pre-operative instructions, with the possibility of remote work after a 90-day probation period.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and confirm surgical procedures while ensuring a positive patient experience
• Collect and verify patient insurance information, including obtaining prior authorizations
• Conduct pre-procedure phone calls and provide patients with necessary pre-operative instructions

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to manage a time-sensitive workload and multitask effectively
• Willingness to support a positive patient experience
• Experience in processing and interpreting data
