Job Summary
To drive profitable growth in the Morristown/Newark, NJ area, the fully remote New Jersey Territory Sales Manager will manage independent agents to exceed new business production and premium goals while promoting a full suite of insurance products.
Key responsibilities
- Manage product integration with industry technology and comparative rating platforms within the assigned market
- Promote and position National General Insurance products to Independent Agency Partners, focusing on household package coverages
- Develop and maintain a pipeline for new agency appointments and support corporate agreements with large independent agents
Required qualifications
- Strong knowledge of the independent agency channel and industry competitors
- Experience in sales and managing relationships with independent agents
- Proven track record of exceeding production and profitability goals
- Understanding of insurance products, including personal auto and homeowners insurance
- Ability to consult and gather market intelligence to enhance product positioning
