New Mexico Housing Specialist

Job Summary

Connecting members with essential housing resources, the remote New Mexico Housing Program Specialist will gather information, research available programs, and maintain up-to-date resource files while traveling within the state for community-based engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to housing referrals by gathering detailed information about members' unique needs and locations
• Research and match available housing programs to members based on their eligibility and needs
• Attend community events and meetings to gather resources and provide housing information as needed

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in housing or care management
• Knowledge of housing resources, programs, and eligibility criteria
• Familiarity with federal, state, and local housing policies and funding
• Experience working with Medicaid populations, including those experiencing houselessness
• GED or High School diploma; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
