Job Summary

To support student engagement and learning, the part-time New Mexico Licensed Adjunct Instructor will teach synchronous online courses in Social and Behavioral Sciences, planning and organizing instruction while adhering to college policies and maintaining student records remotely.

Key responsibilities:
  • Plan and organize online instruction to maximize student engagement and learning outcomes
  • Maintain accurate student grade records and ensure compliance with accreditation standards and college policies
  • Demonstrate mastery of subject matter and stay current through professional development and involvement in relevant organizations
Required qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field with at least 18 units in the subject being taught
  • At least three years of experience in the respective field or two years of teaching experience
  • Appropriate credential, license, or certification for the subject area
  • Strong knowledge of online teaching technologies, including Microsoft Teams and Canvas
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment that respects diverse student backgrounds
