New Mexico Licensed Ambulance Revenue Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Ambulance Revenue Cycle Specialist I to manage accounts receivable and ensure timely reimbursement for ambulance services.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform accounts receivable follow-up activities for assigned payers/accounts
• Contact insurance companies, patients, and employers regarding outstanding ambulance claims
• Analyze credit balances and manage workflow for accounts assigned, ensuring compliance with policies

Required Qualifications

• High School education (G.E.D.) with a minimum of two years of relevant experience preferred
• Six months to one year of experience in a computerized accounts receivable system preferred
• Short-term training in business office processes and procedures preferred
• PC experience with Microsoft Office Word and Excel
• Knowledge of ICD9/ICD10 and HCPCS is beneficial
