Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Director, Children in State Custody (Child Psychiatrist), Remote NM.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and oversight to the Medical Management team, ensuring coordinated care for at-risk patients
  • Develop and implement Utilization Management programs to ensure high-quality, cost-effective patient care
  • Establish effective relationships with practitioners and facilities, addressing quality of care concerns and compliance with standards
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), or equivalent international degree
  • Successful completion of the ECFMG and FLEX examinations
  • At least 3 years of post-residency experience with substantial direct patient care
  • Unrestricted current and valid medical license in a state or territory of the United States
  • Experience with cost-benefit analysis and quality improvement processes is preferred
