Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager-EW Clinical Coding.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate daily operations of the enterprise coding service, ensuring compliance with coding policies and procedures
• Develop and oversee training for coding staff, focusing on ICD-9 and ICD-10 transitions
• Monitor coding accuracy and staff productivity while ensuring compliance with financial goals and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• High School diploma (G.E.D) required; Associate's degree or 2-3 years post-secondary education preferred, with experience as a substitute
• Must possess one of the following coding certifications at time of hire: CCS, CCS-P, CPC, CPC-H
• Minimum of five years experience in healthcare coding (CPT-4, ICD-9, HCPCS) in a hospital or provider setting preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy and physiology required
• Experience in staff performance evaluations and management preferred
