Job Summary
Providing empathetic telephonic support, the full-time New Mexico Licensed Crisis Counselor will deliver crisis intervention and stabilization services while working remotely from New Mexico, engaging with individuals experiencing emotional and behavioral challenges.
Key responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and professional telephonic support to individuals in distress
- Assess emotional and behavioral health concerns and intervene in emergent situations
- Maintain accurate documentation and navigate multiple software systems effectively
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- Minimum of one year of direct experience in behavioral health, counseling, or social services
- New Mexico residency is required for remote work
- Ability to maintain a distraction-free, private office space with secure internet access
- Commitment to regular availability on weekends and holidays post-training
