Job Summary
Providing telephonic support, the full-time New Mexico Licensed Crisis Counselor will deliver compassionate emotional support, conduct risk assessments, and offer crisis intervention services to individuals experiencing distress while working remotely from New Mexico.
Key responsibilities
- Provide empathetic and professional telephonic support to individuals in distress
- Assess emotional and behavioral health concerns, including risk levels and safety issues
- Maintain accurate documentation and manage multiple software systems effectively
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- Minimum of one year of direct experience in behavioral health, counseling, or social services
- New Mexico residency is required for remote work
- Ability to maintain a distraction-free, private office space while working from home
- Commitment to complete a six-week paid virtual training program
