Job Summary
Delivering compassionate emotional support and crisis intervention, the full-time New Mexico Licensed Crisis Counselor will provide telephonic assistance to individuals facing various emotional and behavioral challenges in a fully remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Provide empathetic and professional telephonic support to individuals in distress
- Assess emotional and behavioral health concerns, including risk levels and safety issues
- Maintain accurate documentation and manage multiple software systems while multitasking
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- Minimum of 1 year of direct experience in behavioral health, counseling, or social services
- New Mexico residency required for remote work
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as part of the regular schedule
- Strong emotional resilience and exceptional communication skills
