Job Summary
Providing compassionate emotional support, the full-time New Mexico Licensed Crisis Counselor will deliver telephonic crisis intervention and stabilization services while working remotely from New Mexico, requiring effective multitasking and communication skills.
Key responsibilities
- Provide empathetic telephonic support to individuals in distress or seeking guidance
- Assess emotional and behavioral health concerns and intervene appropriately in emergent situations
- Maintain accurate documentation and navigate multiple software systems effectively
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- Minimum of 1 year direct experience in behavioral health, counseling, or social services
- New Mexico residency required
- Ability to maintain a distraction-free, private office space while working remotely
- Successful completion of a six-week paid virtual training cohort is required for continued employment
