Job Summary
Providing compassionate telephonic support, the full-time New Mexico Licensed Crisis Counselor will engage with individuals in distress, conduct risk assessments, and deliver crisis intervention services while working remotely from New Mexico.
Key responsibilities
- Provide empathetic and professional telephonic support to individuals experiencing emotional distress
- Assess emotional and behavioral health concerns, including risk levels and urgent safety issues
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations in a distraction-free remote environment
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- Minimum of 1 year of direct experience in behavioral health, counseling, or social services
- New Mexico residency required for remote work
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as part of the regular schedule
- Strong multitasking skills and proficiency with multiple software systems
