Job Summary
Providing compassionate telephonic support, the full-time New Mexico Licensed Crisis Counselor will assess emotional and behavioral health concerns, deliver crisis intervention services, and maintain professional documentation while working remotely from New Mexico.
Key responsibilities
- Provide empathetic and professional telephonic support to individuals in distress
- Assess risk levels and urgent safety issues while offering resources and coping strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation and multitask effectively across multiple software systems
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited 4-year college or university
- Minimum of 1 year of direct experience in behavioral health, counseling, or social services
- New Mexico residency required
- Ability to maintain a distraction-free, private office space with a locked door
- Reliable hard-wired broadband or fiber internet connection with at least 10 Mbps speed
