Job Summary
Providing compassionate telephonic support, the full-time New Mexico Licensed Crisis Counselor will assess emotional and behavioral health concerns, deliver crisis intervention services, and ensure a high-quality service experience for callers, working remotely from New Mexico.
Key responsibilities
- Provide empathetic and professional telephonic support to individuals in distress
- Assess emotional and behavioral health concerns, including risk levels and safety issues
- Maintain accurate documentation and multitask effectively while navigating multiple software systems
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- Minimum of 1 year direct experience in behavioral health, counseling, or social services
- New Mexico residency required for remote work
- Ability to maintain a distraction-free, private office space with necessary internet requirements
- Availability to work weekends and holidays post-training
