Job Summary
Providing critical incident management support, the full-time New Mexico Licensed Critical Incidents Specialist will monitor member incidents, ensure compliance with best practices, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams remotely while being camera-ready for meetings with state officials.
Key responsibilities
- Reviews and monitors member critical incidents, providing recommendations for next steps
- Completes notifications for reportable incidents to regulatory bodies and serves as the primary contact for incident resolution
- Assists in developing policies and procedures related to incident management and member health and safety
Required qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in health care, preferably in critical health incidents or risk mitigation
- Bachelor's degree in a health-related field or associate degree in nursing may be required depending on state regulations
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize critical incidents
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
