Job Summary
To provide evidence-based treatment for individuals with substance use disorders, the remote New Mexico Licensed Family Nurse Practitioner will lead member care alongside a dedicated team, conducting telehealth evaluations and prescribing medications as appropriate.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial and follow-up telehealth evaluations
- Deliver care for substance use and prescribe medications as appropriate
- Collaborate with the care team and complete documentation in the EHR
Required Qualifications
- Active and verifiable FNP license in New Mexico, with Medicaid enrollment preferred
- At least 2 years of experience, ideally in addiction treatment
- Experience prescribing Suboxone and active DEA registration
- Willingness to obtain multi-state licensure, with costs covered by Affect
- Empathy for members facing behavioral health challenges
