Job Summary
To support the education of future gifted educators, the part-time New Mexico Licensed Gifted Education Instructor will teach college-level courses, develop instructional materials, and evaluate student learning, with the potential for remote or hybrid work within specific states.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and revise instructional materials for gifted education courses
- Teach day, evening, weekend, and online classes as assigned, maintaining student records and evaluations
- Participate in Adjunct Professional Development activities and maintain office hours for student support
Required qualifications
- Active NMPED teaching license
- Master's degree with at least 18 graduate hours in gifted education coursework from an accredited institution
- Prior teaching experience preferred
- Experience with face-to-face, hybrid, and online course delivery
- Access to home internet, a personal computer, and telephone for communication with students
