New Mexico Licensed Hepatologist

Job Summary

Seeking a New Mexico Licensed Hepatologist, this part-time to full-time remote position will evaluate and manage various liver conditions, provide longitudinal care via a telehealth platform, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while maintaining a flexible work-life balance.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage a wide range of liver conditions, including fatty liver disease and hepatitis
• Provide longitudinal care through a telehealth platform and document patient encounters in the EMR
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide clinical oversight for Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)

Required qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified in Gastroenterology with a focus on Hepatology
• Active, unrestricted medical license in New Mexico is a plus
• Experience or interest in supervising Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
• Comfortable providing care in a telehealth environment
