Job Summary
Seeking a New Mexico Licensed Hepatologist, this part-time to full-time remote position will evaluate and manage various liver conditions, provide longitudinal care via a telehealth platform, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while maintaining a flexible work-life balance.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage a wide range of liver conditions, including fatty liver disease and hepatitis
- Provide longitudinal care through a telehealth platform and document patient encounters in the EMR
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide clinical oversight for Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
Required qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology with a focus on Hepatology
- Active, unrestricted medical license in New Mexico is a plus
- Experience or interest in supervising Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
- Comfortable providing care in a telehealth environment
