Job Summary

To support Medicaid, VA, and Private Pay revenue cycle operations, the part-time remote New Mexico Licensed Medical Billing Specialist will manage claims submission, accounts receivable, and denial resolution in a fast-paced home health environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Submit and manage claims for home health services, including Medicaid and VA
• Process EVV-verified visit data for accurate billing and monitor claims for denials and underpayments
• Collaborate with clinical and operations teams to resolve billing discrepancies and maintain accurate documentation

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of medical or healthcare billing experience
• Strong understanding of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and Medicaid billing requirements
• Experience with claims submission, accounts receivable follow-up, and payment posting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Must reside in Albuquerque or surrounding areas
