Job Summary

A company is looking for a Health Plan Medical Director (MD/DO).

Key Responsibilities

• Support development and revisions to medical policies
• Assist in initiatives to ensure accessibility of quality, affordable care for members
• Provide clinical leadership and promote best practices across the organization

Required Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O. with board certification
• Five years clinical practice experience in pediatric and adult medicine after residency training
• Experience in a managed care setting strongly preferred
• Basic computer literacy and skills in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems
• Detailed knowledge of medical management principles, including utilization management
