Job Summary
To support the Preservation of the Force and Family (POTFF) program, the full-time New Mexico Licensed Mental Health Technician will assist in managing outpatient behavioral health activities, conduct intakes, lead therapy sessions, and collaborate with licensed professionals at Cannon AFB, New Mexico.
Key responsibilities
- Provide a wide range of behavioral health interventions under the supervision of licensed professionals
- Conduct intakes and assist with the care and treatment of psychiatric patients
- Lead individual or group therapy sessions and maintain statistical data for program operations
Required qualifications
- Must have, or be able to obtain, a Secret Clearance
- Associate degree or equivalent military training as a mental health technician
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a psychiatric technician
- Current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) from the American Heart Association
- Completion of training in conflict management and crisis intervention techniques
