Job Summary
To provide compassionate care in addiction medicine, the full-time New Mexico Licensed Nurse Practitioner will work remotely to independently initiate and manage buprenorphine treatment for patients with opioid use disorder in a supportive outpatient setting.
Key responsibilities
- Independently initiate and manage medication for opioid use disorder (MOUD) treatment
- Deliver patient-centered care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure a private workspace for patient interactions
Required qualifications
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in New Mexico or other specified states
- Minimum of 6 months of experience prescribing buprenorphine-based medications in an independent, outpatient setting
- Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate a strong patient-centered practice
- Private workspace with a HIPAA-compliant setup
