Job Summary

To support a growing practice in addiction medicine, the full-time New Mexico Licensed Nurse Practitioner will provide virtual patient care, including clinical assessments and medication management for individuals with substance use disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical assessment, diagnosis, and ongoing management of patients seeking Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) for opioid or alcohol use disorder through Telehealth
  • Prescribe and monitor MAT medications, ensuring appropriate dosing and adherence while monitoring for potential side effects
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, including medical histories and diagnostic evaluations, to assess patient needs and treatment progress
Required Qualifications
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in nursing (APRN), physician assistant (PA), or a related field
  • Active, unrestricted state license as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA), with active DEA registration
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, with at least 0.5 years in addiction medicine, specifically in MAT clinics
  • In-depth knowledge of MAT protocols and treatment for opioid, stimulant, benzodiazepine, and alcohol use disorders
  • Strong Telehealth background and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
