Job Summary
Offering a flexible opportunity, a New Mexico Licensed Optometrist will conduct remote eye examinations and generate prescriptions using patented technology, either on a full-time or part-time basis as an Independent Contractor.
Key responsibilities
- Examine patients remotely in compliance with New Mexico state regulations
- Utilize specialized video conferencing technology to communicate with patients
- Collaborate with Ophthalmic Technicians to analyze eye health and prescribe eyewear
Required qualifications
- Current New Mexico state license as a Doctor of Optometry
- Experience with tele-optometry or remote patient care is preferred
- Ability to work independently as a contractor
- Multiple state licenses are a plus
- Willingness to undergo credentialing and training as needed
