New Mexico Licensed Physical Therapist

Job Summary

To support Special Operations personnel, the full-time New Mexico Licensed Physical Therapist will provide evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal conditions, while also supervising staff and participating in program development, all in a military healthcare setting at Cannon AFB, NM.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with musculoskeletal injuries, including ordering imaging and lab tests as necessary
• Supervise physical therapy staff and participate in program improvement meetings
• Document care in military electronic health records and assist in developing clinical practice guidelines

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in Physical Therapy
• Certification through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) as an OCS or SCS, or as a certified athletic trainer (ATC)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manual therapy within the sports medicine field
• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance and meet physical demands of training with SOF
• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident Status
