Job Summary
To support a growing healthcare team, the full-time Remote Hybrid Pro Fee Auditor/Educator will manage coding compliance, conduct audits, and develop educational programs while working from a hybrid environment.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct internal audits and reviews to ensure compliance with coding and documentation standards
- Develop and present educational programs and tools to maintain regulatory compliance across departments
- Research and address coding, billing, and compliance issues, implementing corrective action plans as necessary
Required qualifications
- High school diploma/GED required; must possess RHIT, RHIA, CPC, or CCS certification
- Minimum of three years of experience in coding and/or auditing
- Proficient knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payer regulations
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, ICD-9, CPT-4, and HCPCS coding systems
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
