New Mexico Licensed Psychiatric Provider

Job Summary

To support a growing practice, the full-time New Mexico Licensed Psychiatric Provider will provide direct client care through telehealth, conducting assessments, diagnosing, and planning treatment for mental health and substance use disorders.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct psychiatric diagnostic evaluations to determine diagnoses and treatment strategies for clients
• Provide pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment, including monitoring and evaluating progress on medications
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations in documentation and care delivery

Required qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Psychiatric Mental Practitioner program
• Current active and unrestricted licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in New Mexico
• Active state DEA License required
• Competency in conducting telemedicine appointments
• Experience with EMR systems preferred
