Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the full-time New Mexico Licensed Psychiatric Provider will provide direct client care through telehealth, conducting assessments, diagnosing, and planning treatment for mental health and substance use disorders.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct psychiatric diagnostic evaluations to determine diagnoses and treatment strategies for clients
- Provide pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment, including monitoring and evaluating progress on medications
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations in documentation and care delivery
Required qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Psychiatric Mental Practitioner program
- Current active and unrestricted licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in New Mexico
- Active state DEA License required
- Competency in conducting telemedicine appointments
- Experience with EMR systems preferred
