New Mexico Licensed Senior Counsel

Job Summary

Seeking a New Mexico Licensed Senior Counsel, the full-time position will independently manage court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials while providing leadership to junior attorneys in a flexible work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop compelling case themes to counter plaintiff strategies
• Independently handle all aspects of litigation, including court appearances and trials
• Provide mentorship and direction to less experienced attorneys while maintaining client communications

Required qualifications

• JD from an ABA approved school
• Active bar license in New Mexico
• 8+ years of solid litigation experience, particularly in insurance defense
• Proven ability to manage full case handling responsibilities
• Experience with time management systems and proficiency in MS Suite
