New Mexico Licensed Senior Counsel

Job Summary

Seeking a New Mexico Licensed Senior Counsel, the full-time position will independently manage court appearances, depositions, and trials while providing leadership to junior attorneys and cultivating client relationships in an innovative insurance defense firm.

Key responsibilities

• Develop compelling case themes to counter plaintiff narratives
• Independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials
• Provide leadership and mentorship to less experienced attorneys

Required qualifications

• JD from an ABA approved law school
• Active bar license in New Mexico
• 8+ years of litigation experience, particularly in insurance defense
• Proven ability to manage full case handling responsibilities
• Experience with time management systems and proficiency in MS Suite
