Job Summary
Providing remote telephone and electronic triage support, the full-time New Mexico Licensed Triage Nurse will manage clinical issues, coordinate care, and deliver training while working primarily during day shifts with occasional nights or weekends.
Key responsibilities
- Manage inbound clinical issues from staff and patients, triaging appropriately and escalating emergencies
- Collaborate with peer mental health workers, social workers, and APPs to address acute issues
- Coordinate care with patients' other providers to ensure seamless health management
Required qualifications
- Active RN license through a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state, with a willingness to obtain licensure in non-compact states
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate of Nursing (ASN)
- At least 3 years of Emergency Room (ER) experience
- Experience working with populations facing serious mental illness, behavioral health conditions, or substance use disorders
- Care management and coordination experience
