Job Summary
Providing customer service support for pharmacy-related inquiries, the full-time New Mexico Pharmacy Representative will manage inbound and outbound calls from members, providers, and pharmacies while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Handles and records pharmacy calls in accordance with departmental policies and regulatory standards
- Processes pharmacy prior authorization requests and explains claims adjudication to members and providers
- Maintains call quality standards and supports pharmacists with comprehensive medication reviews
Required qualifications
- At least 1 year of related experience in call center or customer service
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and applicable software programs
- Ability to work independently on special projects and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent customer service skills and phone etiquette
- Strong ability to develop and maintain positive work relationships
