New Mexico Secondary English Substitute Teacher

Job Summary

A company in the education industry is seeking a New Mexico Secondary English Substitute Teacher for the 2023-2024 school year.

Position Responsibilities:

• Act as teacher of record for various schools during periods of short- or long-term absences or vacancies ranging from 2-20 weeks
• Communicate regularly with students, Learning Coaches, and school personnel to ensure each child successfully completes their instructional program
• Support the instructional program through a combination of synchronous and asynchronous web conferencing sessions

Qualifications:

• Highly qualified and certified to teach English in New Mexico
• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Ability to obtain certification in other states as requested
• Strong technology skills
• Reliable, high-speed internet access
