Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design and implement a SQL Server monitoring solution using New Relic and integrate it with ServiceNow.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement end-to-end SQL Server monitoring in New Relic, including dashboards and synthetic checks
Integrate New Relic events with ServiceNow to create high-quality incidents with correct CI association and routing
Produce documentation, runbooks, and participate in knowledge transfer and on-call rotations as needed

Required Qualifications

3-6+ years of hands-on experience with New Relic and monitoring SQL Server
Experience with ServiceNow integration, including Incident/CMDB and REST APIs
Solid background in SQL Server administration or development
API/scripting skills for integration and automation
Experience in requirements gathering and documenting SLAs/processes
